Steel Horizons is a Dieselpunk TTRPG set on the continent of Algara. It has been 43 years since the discovery of the powerful mineral, Pyricium, which jumpstarted technology ahead decades and began the 3rd Age. In this new world, the nations of Algara have barely survived the Great War, fought over the precious Pyricium deposits, and now seek to rebuild themselves even greater than before with the might of their technologies and cultural advancements. Using the combined power of diesel fuel, pyric energy, and the brute strength of man, the world presses ever forward.
You play as a Wanderer, a traveller making their way across the land in search of their own legacy. By choosing your own Archetype and customizable Background, you can create the Wanderer you want to tell the best story!
Created using the new Hydra System, all you need to play Steel Horizons are a few d12s. Created as a more narrative system, the Hydra System allows player and game runners (Lore Keepers) to tell dynamic and cinematic stories where the players get to be the triumphant heroes and carve out their own legends among a world of iron and diesel.

Is this quickstart enough to play the game?
Yes! As of now this Quickstart Guide helps walk you through Character Creation as well as gives you a few smaller resources on how to run the game as well (there are 2 example encounters along with short rules on how to make your own). I did however, leave out the more expanded rules for combat as they will be further explained in the upcoming "Lore Keeper Codex" I am working on.
However, I can/will be uploading a more through explanation of how Combat works soon.
Good news! I took some of the info in the upcoming "Lore Keeper Codex" and added it in for those who purchase the Quickstart Guide at no extra cost. Now there is a more lengthy explanation of Combat as well as the Character Creations Rules!
